The race finished in style with Team Tallaght reaching Mother Kelly's on Talbot Street close to Busaras Luas stop. Team Tallaght finished their drinks with a few minutes remaining on the clock and brought Team Sandyford to the pub.
The final result of the race is not official until the organizing committee have gone through all photo evidence. We'll need a few days for that. But, I think we certainly can say that the race was a huge success and everyone had a lot of fun. And ordering a pint of Heineken with two ice cubes and one straw with a german accent in a dodgy pub in Kylemore was quite an experience!
Thanks to everyone that participated, and everyone we met along the way!

Hello!
Thank you for organizing this, we had a blast and a truly brilliant time! Not so sure I look forward to the pictures though...
Tjingeling,
Mette
I'm with Mette on this one, had a blast but not looking forward to the pictures.
As part of the organizing committee I vote for proposition no.1 "What happens during Luas Race, stays in the Luas Race" thus, not posting pictures on the internet.
Ha. The Photo disclaimer was out before the race, I think the old Swedish saying of "whoever joins the game..." is very appropriate in this case ;-)
Well it also says that the photo has to be handed over to the organizing committe (which I am on) for the purpose of scoring points... So if we don't hand them over for that purpose they cannot be published :D
I am now going to continue feeling sick from the race and trying to survive. To quote my team member Erik "It feels like my guts were in a mixer".
Well, we always knew you and Erik were sissies... ;-)
Hrm.... Sissy, really? Puhu! I beg to differ. I am Carcass, the woman, the myth, the legen... DARY! I own you all! Good day!
P.S. I can't wait for the next race, it's gonna be even better than this one. We have to start planning again soon.
The awesome-trust must rise again!
I said good day!
